St. Wenceslas ducats have an absolutely unique and unmissable position in Czech numismatics. The gold St. Wenceslas ducat is a commercial coin which was first minted in 1923 and its mintage continued in various volumes and denominations until 1939. Its issue as well as its artistic design are associated with the establishment of the independent and free Czechoslovak Republic.
